Carnatic music intermediate level course – 2 training in Bangalore

This primary level course will give the basic understanding of the Tala system of Carnatic music, Structure of Nattuvangam for Bharathanatyam repertoire.

Class Particulars

  • Duration:1 year
  • Previous experience required.
  • Must be completed the intermediate level 1 course of Lakshmisisters’s VNG.
  • Mode of course: Online/offline.
  • 2classes per week for group sessions& for solo sessions as per the individual needs.
  • Fee: Variable for group/solo sessions.

Objectives of the course

  • Basic understanding of Talam with various exercises.
  • Sooladi sapta talas.
  • Tala dasa prana.
  • Skills to play with Tattukazhi.
  • Skill aquires to play with Nattuvangam.

Students will be tested at the end of the course. A certification of completion will be provided upon the successful completion of the course by Lakshmisisters’s VNG.

What are VNG’s online courses?

VNG is offering various courses on Bharathanatyam,Mohiniyattam,carnatic music & Natuuvangam in Beginners,intermediate&advanced levels.

When do I pay the fees?

The fee should pay on the beginning of every month before starting the sessions.If the amount is not paid on time,a fine amount would be added onto the fees.

What is the minimum age to enroll?

We have studentsfrom 4 years old.

How does often does the class meet?

Classes are twice in a week for group sessions and for individual sessions as per students need(charges apply)

Is there an age limit?

There is no upper age limit. We have students from various age groups from 4 years to 50+ years of age enrolled in the academy.

How long are the sessions?

1 hour.

Are these Individual sessions or group?Do you offer individual classes?

Offline learnings are group sessions.But we have group and individual sessions offering via online.

Who conducts these lessons?

Classes are conducted by Kalamandalam Vinodini and Lakshmisisters.

Is these courses are certified?

Upon the successful completion of each course, a certificate of completion will be awarded by VNG.

Can I really learn dance online?

Yes.Although most people have been forced to teach virtually due to covid, VNG has been successfully conducting distance training.Currently we have students from different parts of the world.
